Gladiola Flower Club
The Gladiola Flower Club members met at the home of Lucy Pittman on July 5, 2007 to view her yard. After an enjoyable time, the group went to the h ome of Estelle Jackson for the regular meeting.
June Jackson, vice-president, presided over the meeting. Roll call was answered with “My Favorite High School Memory.”
Discussion was held on the sale of nuts this fall. Discussion was also held on the Home Tour in December.
Flower Winner - Estelle Jackson, Plant Winner
The next meeting will be held July 19, 2007, with Dickie Allen serving as hostess.
Present were: Dorothy Buzzard, Betty Jean Davis, Estelle Jackson, June Jackson, Norma Jean Mackie, Gwen Smith, Kathleen Sutton, Virginia Trindle and Sabrina Landrum.


The Gladiola Flower Club met at 3 p.m. at the Bunkhouse Restaurant on July 19, 2007, with Dickie Allen serving as hostess.
Chairman Muriel Boyd presided over the meeting. Roll call was answered with sharing an old family photo.
The sale of nuts was approved. The Home Tour for December was also approved.
August is our month to host Bingo at Hansford Manor on Monday nights.
The program was presented by Ann Flowers. Verna Strawn gave a fun and nostalgic reading and sang “Thank Heaven for Little Girls.”
Flower Winner - Dorothy Buzzard, Arrangement
Present were: Gwen Smith, Virginia Trindle, Kathleen Sutton, Pam Schnell, Ann Flowers, Muriel Boyd, Margarette Evans, Norma Jean Mackie, Estelle Jackson and Dorothy Buzzard.
The next meeting will be at 10 a.m. on August 2nd at the home of Irene Snider, to view her yard. Muriel Boyd will serve as hostess.
