Bridesmaids were Miss Leslie Scott and Miss Shanna Smith, college friends of the bride, Miss Hope DeLaO, high school friend of the bride, Mrs. Ashley Lowe, sister of the groom, Miss Stormey Wilson and Miss Aimee Tucker, college friends and roommates of the bride, and Miss Chandra Chapma, high school friend of the bride. The flower girl was Anna Collums, friend of the bride. Ring bearer was Layne Collums, friend of the bride. The Best Man was Tracy Brown, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Lance Baker and Paul Bynum, lifelong friends of the groom, Matt “Pigeon” Dowling, college friend and roommate of the groom, Lang Nolen, Gerald Mitchell and Paul Schuab, college friends of the groom, and David Hunt, brother-in-law of the bride and Adam Lowe, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Eric Welch and Brady Welch, cousins of the bride, Martine Barrosso, friend of the groom, and Greg Roberts, friend of the bride. Scripture readings were by Erin Rae Welch, cousin of the bride, and Morgan Allred and Miles Allred, family friends of the bride. The room was decorated with Roman columns with cream, purple and green hydrangeas and lavender. The bride’s bouquet was Virginia purple roses with lavender stock. The bridesmaids bouquets were lavender bouquets with silk ribbon. The corsages were Virginia roses in lavender. The bride wore a Champaigne-colored Maggie Sottero designed dress with pearl trim at the bodice and throughout the dress. A champaign wedding veil adorned the beautiful dress. Miranda graduated from Abilene High School in 2004. She graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 2008 with a degree in Sports, Leisure and Fitness and Business Management. She is a sales representative for Crayton and Morris, based out of Dallas. Miranda will work out of Abilene. Travis graduated from Spearman High School in 2003. He graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 2007 with a Business/Finance Degree. He is in sales for Barnhill Office System and Interiors in Abilene. A reception followed the wedding ceremony at the Grace Museum with a wonderful selection of appetizers and Prime Rib. The String Unlimited Orchestra played, followed by music from Superstar DJ. Following a week-long wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Abilene.
